well I went to my first belly dancing class on monday. I keep forgetting to post about it. It was fun. a good work out. I was sore the next day. I am picking it up pretty quick at least I think so. and I ordered 2 hip scarves on ebay so Ill pay for them on friday. I have been borrowing my friends scarf till I get my own. and on ebay I was bidding on 2 scarves thinking I would loose 1 of them since the last 5 I have bid on I lost. but I won them both which is out of my budget a little bit. so I am gonna wait till I get them and if I dont like one I will just sell it to someone in my class because noone has one yet. other wise ill just take the hit on the budget and keep the both. I am trying to find out how to say "fire" as a noun in arabic to be my dancing name. if anyone knows please let me know. I really like my teacher she is very nice and happy.

I just started belly dancing classes on Monday too. I'm glad you're enjoying it! And thanks for tip about the Lawrence classes. I'm over here in Wichita, but I might be able to go.
As far as "fire" in Arabic, I might have found something for you. This webpage (http://www.babynamesdirectory.com/arab
Hope this helps! Have fun in class!

Nar is indeed fire in Arabic. A more common name for a woman is Nour (light).
Maybe you could find the song Ala Nar (on fire) and work/dance with that. It is a popular song for dancers.
Have fun!
